The choice of our brand name is for historical reasons.<\/p>\n

Part of our almond trees are located in the municipality of Torre de Leoz, which takes its name from the fact that it was formerly the site of a traditional stone farmhouse-tower (torre) coming under the feudal regime, and which protected the border of the Kingdom of Navarre.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Peasants lived there, responsible for watching over this area. The Pe\u00f1a del Sol crag, standing at a height of 290 metres, afforded them the best views of the border with the Kingdom of Aragon.<\/p>\n

The peasants cultivated the surrounding fields for their own supply of food and for the landowner.<\/p>\n

When the feudal regime came to an end in the first half of the 19th century, Leoz became part of the municipality of Fusti\u00f1ana. In 1887 Torre de Leoz had 11 inhabitants, its population gradually decreased until, in 1981, only 2 inhabitants were left and it was later abandoned.<\/p>\n

Today, it has a unique appearance with a wall sculpted by the wind and water and a watch window at one end from which vultures can commonly be seen flying over the area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false,"raw":"

Nuestra marca<\/h1>\r\nLa elecci\u00f3n de nuestra marca tiene un significado hist\u00f3rico.\r\n\r\nParte de nuestros almendros se encuentran en el t\u00e9rmino Torre de Leoz. Este recibe su nombre porque antiguamente exist\u00eda en \u00e9l una torre-caser\u00edo sometido a r\u00e9gimen se\u00f1orial, que proteg\u00eda la frontera del Reyno de Navarra.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

\r\n\r\nAll\u00ed viv\u00edan campesinos encargados de la vigilancia de esta zona. Desde la Pe\u00f1a del Sol, a 290 m. de altura obten\u00edan las mejores vistas de la frontera con el Reino de Arag\u00f3n.\r\n\r\nLos campesinos cultivaban los campos de alrededor para su propio abastecimiento y para el propietario del terreno.\r\n\r\nAl desaparecer el r\u00e9gimen se\u00f1orial en la primera mitad del siglo XIX Leoz pas\u00f3 a pertenecer al t\u00e9rmino municipal de Fusti\u00f1ana. Notre marque<\/h1>\r\nLe choix de notre marque est le fruit d'une trajectoire historique.\r\n\r\nUne partie de nos amandiers se trouve dans le village de Torre de Leoz. Ce village est nomm\u00e9 ainsi puisqu'il existait au m\u00eame endroit une ancienne tour-ferme qui \u00e9tait sous le joug d'un r\u00e9gime seigneurial et qui prot\u00e9geait la fronti\u00e8re du Royaume de Navarre.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

\r\n\r\nLes paysans charg\u00e9s de la surveillance de la zone y r\u00e9sidaient. Du haut de la Pe\u00f1a del Sol, \u00e0 290 m\u00e8tres d'altitude, ils avaient la meilleure vue de la fronti\u00e8re avec le Royaume d'Aragon.\r\n\r\nLes paysans cultivaient les champs des environs pour leur propre subsistance et pour le propri\u00e9taire du terrain.\r\n\r\nApr\u00e8s la disparition du r\u00e9gime seigneurial lors de la premi\u00e8re moiti\u00e9 du XIX\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, Leoz a \u00e9t\u00e9 inclus dans la commune de Fusti\u00f1ana. En 1887, 11 habitants vivaient \u00e0 La Torre de Leoz mais la population a constamment diminu\u00e9, atteignant 2 habitants en 1981 avant d'\u00eatre compl\u00e8tement abandonn\u00e9e.\r\n\r\nActuellement, son esth\u00e9tique singuli\u00e8re est form\u00e9e par un mur sculpt\u00e9 par le vent et l'eau ainsi qu'une fen\u00eatre de surveillance au sommet, o\u00f9 l'on
